Hayley Landman North, M.A., is a psychology intern at CBC, where she conducts individual, family, and group psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and adults. She is currently a fifth-year doctoral student in the School Psychology program at Teachers College, Columbia University. Hayley received her bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Education Sciences from the University of Florida, and her master’s degree in School Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Hayley has received intensive training in evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Adapted for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM). Additionally, she is trained in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning. Hayley’s prior experience implementing CBT, DBT, exposure therapy, group therapy, and family therapy in school and clinical settings enables her to employ foundational therapeutic orientations, while also integrating and tailoring alternative treatment orientations to support individual client needs.
Hayley’s current doctoral research investigates the relationship between test anxiety and academic performance, with the goal of optimizing school-based interventions and accommodations. Currently, Hayley is a student affiliate member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and National Association of School Psychology (NASP).
