About CBC

Founded in 2004, Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants (CBC) is a well-established and growing mental health organization that specializes in providing evidence-based therapeutic services to adults, adolescents, children, couples and families and a training center that provides training to professionals nationally. Founded by leading experts in the field of psychology and mental health, CBC is dedicated to helping people overcome a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.

CBC’s approach is rooted in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) interventions. Cognitive- behavioral therapy (CBT), a therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress and mental health issues. Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is a structured program of psychotherapy with a strong educational component designed to provide skills for managing intense emotions and negotiating social relationships.

Our team of highly trained and licensed therapists collaborates with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Our values are to use evidence-based treatments, provide high-quality psychological care, and a collaborative and compassionate professional environment that affords clinicians ongoing peer support and opportunities for professional development. We provide ongoing training and professional development for staff to ensure they are well-equipped to deliver the most effective and up-to-date treatments.

Our goal is to create positive and enduring change for all our clients and disseminate evidence-based treatments to professionals throughout lower Fairfield and Westchester County, Manhattan, and beyond.
