Project Coordinator

CBC is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator. responsible for coordinating the administration and growth of CBC’s professional continuing education, training, and consulting programs for individuals, schools, agencies, and organizations. Reporting to the Controller, the project coordinator will serve as the administrative point of contact between internal staff and external parties. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and requires exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to support the growth of two programs in coordination with the Directors of Consulting and CE Training. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, collaborative, professional, and detail-oriented.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the directors of the training and consultation related programs
    • Facilitate meetings: arrange meetings, manage calendars, create and share agendas, take minutes, collect, follow-up, and report on action items for self, other admin and clinicians to ensure deliverables are executed
    • Route incoming inquiries from prospective and existing clients to departments and staff
    • Prepare service proposals for agency, school, and organization consulting and professional trainings
    • Manage, improve and maintain internal databases including but not limited to program folders, consultant caseload database, training materials and resources
    • Implement and utilize project management tools to manage short and long term projects
    • Responsible for creating, tracking, maintaining program data and key performance indicators when needed
    • Drive program operational workflows, develop project timelines and follow up with staff throughout all phases of each project
    • Coordinate the materials for each respective program including inventory, ordering, maintaining, and distributing documents, materials, and supplies as needed
    • Coordinate consultant caseload database and distribute to each consultant number of schools, rates, frequency of consults, etc. in conjunction with HR/Controller
    • Coordinate with the Program Directors on business development initiatives
  • Plan, organize and manage virtual and in-person trainings for agencies, schools, organizations and individual professionals
    • Work with the Directors to plan and organize internal and external training and consultation events
    • Coordinate all aspects of training events held on site and virtually, including coordinating refreshments, managing IT and AV, managing registration through the website and our training platform, and acting as point of contact for participants
    • Coordinate with individuals, school districts, agencies, and personnel, as well as with CBC trainers on training dates, details, and materials
    • Regularly work on creating uniform and aesthetic materials across all trainings
    • Maintain and disperse “training facesheets” with all relevant information for trainers
    • Manage our virtual training platform, which includes training staff to use the platform, assisting trainers with preparing training materials, and coordinating with our vendor to troubleshoot and modify features of the program
    • Collect and provide trainers with participant evaluations, and collect/analyze other relevant data
    • Coordinate the CE certification process
    • Maintain a database of all trainings, participants, and certificates
    • Secure and maintain accreditation for trainings at CBC
    • Ensure adherence to accreditation requirements in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of courses offered, including meeting deadlines for submission of reports, forms, fees and certificates
    • Coordinate school-based scholarship initiatives
    • Assist in the annual budget development process for the training programs.


  • Experience working in an administrative role for multi-tasking and fast-paced environments
  • Experience working with budgets, contracts/proposals, POs and invoicing a plus
  • Ability to work with multiple computer and EMR systems, project management softwares, webinar delivery platforms and applications, i.e. Zoom, Salesforce, Trello, Google Drive, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience in project management and spearheading initiatives
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience implementing and improving systems and workflows
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data; Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Staff clinician: Child and adolescent anxiety and related disorders program

Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants (CBC) is recruiting a clinical psychologist or licensed clinical social worker with strong training and expertise in CBT, and in the assessment and treatment of anxiety and related disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults. In addition to conducting individual therapy and parent sessions, there will be opportunities to co-lead CBT groups and intensive programs, provide training and supervision to graduate and post-graduate students, and provide training and consultation to professionals on-site, at schools, agencies, and organizations. Additional opportunities include the ability to conduct research, present at conferences, and co-author publications. CBC also offers continuing education, including weekly and monthly didactic lectures, intensive workshops, weekly and monthly team consultation meetings, and spotlight meetings. Demonstrated experience with CBT for anxiety and related disorders with children and adolescents is required. Experience with Exposure/Response Prevention, PCIT and/or PCIT-SM, and treatment of OCD and Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors is preferred.

Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants of Westchester and Manhattan (CBC) is excited to announce that we are seeking a full-time neuropsychologist to help grow the practice and to meet the demand for evaluations and executive function coaching. Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants is a clinical and training center founded by Dr. Alec L. Miller and Dr. Lata K. McGinn that provides cutting-edge, evidence-based assessments and psychotherapy for people of all ages. CBC is committed to providing a compassionate and safe resource with the goal of creating positive and enduring change for adults, adolescents, children and their families.

Our evaluation and learning support team at CBC provides a range of clinical services, including neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations, specialized evaluations for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, early career and/or change of career vocational assessments and executive function coaching, as well as educational consultation for school and college-aged students. Our neuropsychological assessment service offers comprehensive assessments for all ages, but our primary patient population is preschool through young adults.

Neuropsychologists interested in generalist pediatric practice are encouraged to apply. Applicants with specialized training in adolescence, early adulthood, families and/or lifespan populations are also welcome. This position would be a good fit for neuropsychologists at any stage in their career, including current post-doctoral students finishing up their training this year or early career neuropsychologists. This position is part-time; however, a full-time position will be considered. Services are currently conducted both in person and virtually. Opportunity for report writing time at home is available.

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

  • Holds a doctoral degree in clinical, school, or counseling psychology from an accredited graduate program
  • Has completed at least two years of postgraduate training in neuropsychological assessment with children, adolescents and young adults
  • Has a knowledge of school-based interventions and systems
  • Is fully licensed or license-eligible in the state of New York
  • Exceptional clinical and writing skills
  • Prior experience with the assessment of autism in children, adolescents and young adults. ADOS-2 Certified is preferred but not required.
  • Is eligible to pursue board certification in clinical neuropsychology.
  • Assessment experience with toddlers and preschool is a plus but not required
  • Assessment experience with adults is a plus but not required
  • Experience with executive function coaching, cognitive remediation and/or organizational skills training is a plus but not required
  • Collegial and team-player mindset

Specific duties include:

  • Provides a full range of neuropsychological diagnostic and evaluative services for children through adults
  • Provides executive function coaching to children, adolescents and adults both in individual and group sessions
  • Makes recommendations for treatment and therapeutic interventions based on the latest research and best practices
  • Consults with families, schools and other treatment providers as needed
  • Supervision and training of school psychology interns completing neuropsychological evaluations
  • Gives presentations and workshops for community organizations

Clinical Researcher

CBC seeks applications for clinical researcher with interest and experience in the area of dissemination implementation science and prevention research. The successful candidate will have a high degree of skill in research methodology and statistics, in managing IRB applications and databases, in conducting, coordinating, and overseeing a wide range of research activities, and in presenting and publishing papers. Training in CBT is essential and experience or interest in DBT is highly desirable. This position offers the opportunity to conduct research in a clinical and school setting, conduct both primary data collection and secondary data analysis, collaborate with senior researchers, and mentor junior researchers. In addition, the individual will engage in some clinical activities, attend professional development didactics and consultation teams, and have the opportunity to teach and train others.

Staff Clinician

Looking for a full-time clinician, who could work in both the east side location in Manhattan and in White Plains. Licensed psychologists and licensed social workers are welcome to apply.
