Our goal is to provide comprehensive and individualized assessments that can be used to support our client’s academic and occupational success. Our evaluation process is strengths-based, meaning we hone in on our clients’ individual assets and describe how they can best be used to overcome their challenges. We work diligently to create a low-stress, engaging, informative experience for individuals and their families.

Our team at CBC provides a range of clinical services including neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations, specialized evaluations for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, early career and/or change of career vocational assessments, as well as educational consultation for school and college-aged students. At CBC, we use a strength-based flexible battery approach, where each evaluation is designed and targeted to meet the unique needs of our patients. Our clinicians use standardized assessment measures to gain insight into how each individual processes information, as well as to develop a detailed profile of their cognitive strengths and weaknesses.

Throughout the evaluation process, we carefully review an individual’s profile across multiple cognitive domains including verbal and nonverbal reasoning, language processing, visual processing, visual-motor integration, learning and memory, attention, executive functioning, and academic skills. We also place a strong emphasis on viewing our patients’ cognitive profiles through the lens of their environments and social-emotional functioning.

As part of our commitment to keeping families safe during these uncertain times, the team at CBC has shifted to providing evaluations, executive functioning coaching, and executive functioning workshops remotely. Evaluations can be done in person, exclusively via remote administration, or as a hybrid model of remote and in-person testing.
