Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants - Privacy Policy Update

Cognitive & Behavioral Consultants uses text messaging to communicate with patients about scheduling and care logistics. Patients may opt in by providing a mobile number on our contact form, by requesting text communication from our staff or their clinician, or by texting us directly. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care and may be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP.

Users who provide consent may receive appointment, scheduling, and conversational customer care SMS messages regarding inquiries, scheduling, business communications, or service-related updates. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

Text messages are used to confirm and remind patients of scheduled appointments, to check in with patients regarding scheduling and care coordination, to allow clinicians to communicate directly with their patients about appointments, availability, and other care logistics, and for internal communication between CBC staff. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not sell mobile numbers.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages. You will receive one confirmation message and none after that.

• Delivery. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

This section describes our text messaging program and does not replace CBC's Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs protected health information under HIPAA and is provided to patients separately.
