This four-day OCD therapy program is for teens struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and uses evidence-based CBT treatment in an intensive, skill-building format. Designed specifically for adolescents aged 12-17, the intensive OCD treatment program offered at our facility combines individual and group sessions in an engaging, supportive environment. Participants learn and practice intensive exposure and response prevention (ERP) along with other CBT skills over the four-day period. Research shows that intensive CBT treatment leads to rapid skills acquisition and gains. Our program is led by skilled clinicians with extensive experience in treating OCD and related disorders.
The next Intensive OCD Treatment Program will take place Friday, October 9th through Monday, October 12th, 2026 at our office in White Plains, New York. (PLEASE NOTE: this program takes place over Indigenous Peoples' weekend)
This OCD therapy program is recommended as an intensive booster in addition to ongoing weekly treatment and may be taken before or after weekly treatment is initiated.
A virtual parent meeting will take place during the week before the intensive (Thursday, October 8th, 6-8 pm), and parents will be invited back on the last day.
Our office is based in Westchester (White Plains), New York, and we also offer treatment at our Manhattan facility as well as virtually for individuals throughout the year.
OCD is a mental health disorder that affects people of all ages and walks of life and occurs when a person gets caught in a cycle of obsessions and compulsions. Obsessions are unwanted, intrusive thoughts, images or urges that trigger intensely distressing feelings. Compulsions are unhelpful repetitive behaviors and mental acts used by individuals in an effort to overcome the distress they experience from their obsessions.
