Devorah Rothman, MS

Psychology Intern

Devorah Rothman, MS, is a doctoral intern at CBC and a student in the APA-accredited Combined School-Clinical Child Psychology PsyD Program at Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. She earned her M.S. in School Psychology from Ferkauf and her M.A. in Early Childhood Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Devorah has received training in several evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and PCIT-Calm. She has experience providing services to children, adolescents, adults, and families across a range of clinical presentations, including anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, depression, behavioral dysregulation, and trauma-related concerns. Her clinical experience includes providing individual, parent, dyadic, and group therapy across school and outpatient settings, as well as conducting diagnostic assessments and psychoeducational evaluations.

Prior to joining CBC, Devorah completed an externship at the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CUCARD), where she provided evidence-based treatment to individuals and groups with anxiety disorders, OCD, and ADHD in both outpatient settings and through the Anxiety Day Program. Previously, she trained at the Mount Sinai Parent-Infant Center, where she worked with families impacted by trauma using Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and Perinatal Child-Parent Psychotherapy (P-CPP). Devorah also served as a student therapist and evaluator at the Parnes Clinic.
