Stress Support, Critical Incident Response, Postvention & Recovery for Schools and Colleges
CBC provides Psychological First Aid Plus (PFA+; McGinn, 2001–2026) training, consultation, and direct support for schools and colleges responding to acute stress, crises, and traumatic events. PFA+ is a supportive, CBT skills-based approach that helps individuals and communities manage the immediate emotional impact of stress, loss, crisis, or trauma while strengthening coping, connection, and resilience. We provide direct PFA+ support when students, staff, families, or school and campus communities need additional trained responders, and we train school and college teams in advance so they are prepared to respond effectively when acute stress or critical incidents occur.
