The Coronavirus (COVID-19) news has been grim and unrelenting since it arrived in the New York metropolitan area earlier this year. While the number of confirmed cases, hospitalizations and deaths has been staggering, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has noted that the numbers have started to stabilize, confirming that the State’s social distancing response is working.

We at Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants recognize that many are suffering from the constant anxiety and uncertainty about the novel coronavirus and the respiratory illness it causes.

In response, we have developed a robust HIPAA-compliant video conferencing capacity to conduct intake evaluations along with individual, group, and family therapy sessions. By using Telehealth, our clients can continue their course of care while maintaining the social distancing necessary to contain the spread of the Coronavirus. Please note that all clients will need to sign a consent form before proceeding with tele-health sessions. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to speak to your CBC therapist, visit www.cbc-psychology.com or call 914-385-1150.
