Sivan Komatsu, EdS, NCSP, is a psychology intern at CBC where she conducts individual and group therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. Sivan is a sixth-year doctoral student in the University of Washington’s School Psychology PhD program. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Dickinson College, and her EdS in School Psychology from the University of Washington.
Sivan has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has extensive experience providing evidence-based interventions in both clinical and school settings. Prior to beginning her internship at CBC, Sivan completed her clinical practicum at Under One Roof Psychological Services, where she provided individual and family therapy to children and adolescents. She also served as the school psychologist at Northwest Yeshiva High School, where she delivered mental health and social-emotional interventions and conducted psychoeducational assessments.
