CBC Team

Justin Gudeman is a psychology extern at CBC. He is a fourth-year doctoral student in Long Island University’s (LIU) Clinical Psychology Psy.D. program. He completed his B.A. in economics and psychology at the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining CBC, Justin gained experience providing therapeutic and assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and related concerns. During his third year at LIU, Justin provided treatment at Northwell’s Addiction Recovery Services in Glen Oaks, New York, working with individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use and mood disorders. During his second year, he served as a graduate student psychologist at the LIU Psychological Services Center.

Justin is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and works collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their own goals in a way that reflects their values, strengths, and individual needs. He is currently completing a doctoral dissertation examining the adaptations clinicians make to treatment manuals in routine practice.
