Chava Tusk is a psychology extern who works with children, adolescents, and families. She is currently a fourth-year doctoral student in the Psy.D. School Psychology program at St. John’s University and previously earned her M.S. in School Psychology from St. John’s University.

Chava previously served as a student therapist at the St. John’s Center for Psychological Services, where she provided individual therapy to children and adolescents and worked with parents through parent training interventions. She also conducted comprehensive psychoeducational and psychological evaluations for children and adolescents. In addition, Chava completed a school psychology externship at George W. Hewlett High School, where she provided individual and group counseling, consulted with teachers, staff, and parents, and conducted psychoeducational evaluations.

Prior to her graduate training, Chava worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of neurodevelopmental and developmental disabilities across school, community, and recreational settings.

Chava is committed to creating a warm, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic environment while tailoring treatment to each individual's unique strengths and goals.
