Research Director Tali Wigod recently published her dissertation on treatment for parents of children with disruptive behavior disorders. The data compared parents’ acceptability and preference for two types of mental health care: behavioral parent training (BPT) and the health maintenance model (HMM). Results indicated parents found BPT significantly more acceptable and preferable overall, yet found aspects of HMM preferable.
