Institute For Professionals

Manhattan/Westchester NY

The CBC Institute For Professionals provides a collegial and intellectually stimulating environment in which to receive comprehensive training, supervision, and consultation in CBT and DBT. We provide continuing education training for health professionals, educators, and administrators through CBC-Ed. Our continuing education program offers workshops and other trainings, as well as time-limited or ongoing consultation for professionals in the community who wish to learn CBT and DBT adherently. Please contact Dr. Kelly Graling at training@cbc-psychology.com for more information.

Directed by Dr. Chad Brice and the training team, CBC also has four distinct yearlong training programs: Psychology postdoc training program (Dr. Jessica Renz, Coordinator), psychology externship training program (Dr. Amy Walker, Coordinator), school psychology internship training program (Dr. Chad Brice, Coordinator), and social work internship training program (Ms. Jackie Smith, Coordinator).

Our supervisory team comprises a select group of highly skilled clinicians, educators and researchers who specialize in CBT and DBT.

We provide extensive training including weekly didactic seminars on CBT and DBT topics and a lecture series in which nationally and internationally renowned speakers are invited from the CBT and DBT communities.

We also provide comprehensive supervision including individual, group, DBT consultation team, CBT consultation team and grand rounds. Our trainees have the opportunity to gain experience working with a variety of disorders, and treat children, adolescents, young adult, adults, families, and couples.

To apply to one of our year long training programs or to ask questions, please email Dr. Chad Brice at apply@cbc-psychology.com.
