Jessica Passman, Psy.M. is a full-time pre-doctoral psychology intern at CBC where she conducts individual, family, and group therapies with children, adolescents, and adults. Jessica also conducts neuropsychological evaluations and executive functioning coaching. She is also part of the School Consultation team at CBC that provides training and consultation to schools nationwide in evidence-based interventions. Jessica received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from SUNY Purchase College and received her Master's Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP), where she is currently a 5th year doctoral student.
Jessica has received intensive training in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). At CBC, Jessica provides CBT to individuals with a range of anxiety and mood disorders as well as ADHD and school refusal. Jessica also conducts individual DBT therapy,co-leads DBT skills training groups for both adolescents and families as well as adults. Jessica also provides Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) to young children and their families.
Jessica has experience working with children, adolescents, and families in clinical and school settings to provide mental health services. Prior to her internship, Jessica completed a one-year externship at CBC in which she provided CBT, DBT, PCIT, and became more involved in CBC’s school consultation program. Jessica also completed a prior externship at NYU Child Study Center, where she co-led groups for teens with social anxiety and provided individual therapy for children, teens, and young adults with ADHD, anxiety and mood disorders. During this time, Jessica gained extensive experience in Organizational Skills Training (OST) with adolescents and exposure-based treatment for anxiety disorders. Jessica has completed multiple externships in schools, providing consultation to teachers and administration, conducting psychological assessments and counseling. Jessica has also conducted psychological evaluations and comprehensive assessments, and provided CBT to children through young adults at the Center for Psychological Services at GSAPP.
