Catharine Bruening, Director of Operations, began her relationship with CBC in 2007. Since 2016, she has been responsible for all operational aspects of the practice outside of finance and HR. She works closely with the Founders to develop operational goals and create and improve processes, policies, and procedures. In addition, she has overseen three major expansions of the practice.

Catharine manages numerous databases and creates reports that aid in practice management and planning, as well as plans and manages staff events and the community service activities for CBC. She also heads an operations team responsible for administrative support, client services, and billing. She received a BA in Sociology from Goucher College and her Master’s of Public Health and Master’s of Social Work from Columbia University.
